Phoenix Division's arrival in Malton comes as a complete shock to the remaining command staff. They are currently trying to establish how exactly they arrived, fight off zombie creatures attacking a building known as Caiger Mall, and to recruit more personnel.

History

The Phoenix Division is an elite division of the GDI, Global Defense Initiative, that was founded in 2030 to assist in the battle against the Brotherhood of Nod. They fought bravely and eventually beat the Nod forces, but at the cost of much of their personnel. After regrouping and preparing to assist in dealing with the Tiberium plague, they encountered a temporal shift, sending the remaining personnel back in time to current day Malton, just before the outbreak of the Zombie Plague. Their ship had shifted into the walls of Malton's Sewers and was heavily damaged. Some of the surviving crew members stayed aboard to attempt repairs, while a select few went up top and began to explore Malton. It was at this time that the zombies began to appear all over the city and the group got separated. The few left are currently trying to survive and eventually reach their ship, hoping to return home.
