Gaze Library
Description
A brick four-story with a limestone facade and wrought iron fixtures. The interior is largely untouched period furnishings except for some unattractive 1980s couches. A few curious flourishes can be seen here and there that suggest Masonic influence.
History
Erected in 1924 by the Sons of Malton, a civic order affiliated with the United Grand Lodge of England. The building served as a public library from 1924 to 1963, then it was used until 1978 as a municipal archive. It remained vacant until 1987 before it was put back into service as a community library. Its collection included a broad array of local archival material and excellent if limited resources on sports and wildlife.
Perhaps owing to its name, during the 1990s and early 2000s the library was a popular rendezvous for homosexual men.
Barricade Policy
EHB at all times.
Current Status

Somebody has spraypainted Farts! It's what's for dinner! onto a wall.
