Description

Lahey Towers is a high-rise tower located in the suburb of Rhodenbank. Built in 1995 for the Oxbaker Finance Company, the building is known for its black glass exterior, a feature that has often compared the Lahey Towers to another pair of twin landmarks, the impressive Souless Mallard Towers to the far east of the suburb. The Lahey Towers, or "The Tower", was built by the Hansing Corporation and leased almost immediately to the Oxbaker Finance Company in a deal many speculate was already in the works prior to the building's construction.

In the years following its lease to the Oxbaker Finance Company the building had not garnered any real interest in the public eye, but following the "Malton Incident" the building has become a staple safehouse for survivors everywhere. "The Tower" has since had many makeshift fortifications added to its ground floor lobby, as the building's once large lobby windows were smashed long ago by rampaging hordes of zombies. Now abandoned cars, pick-ups, and a wide variety of office furniture are commonly found piled along the entire breath and width of the lobby's exterior to form hardened barricade walls. In most cases these barricade walls have been further enhanced through spot welding and reinforced support beams, but doorways have been kept clear of such permanent obstructions lest no one ever be able to leave the building at all.

Barricade Policy

Please keep this building at EHB.

In accordance with the Rhodenbank Civil Defense Corps barricade plan the location should be Extremely Heavily barricaded at all times. The true purpose of this building is to serve as a heavily fortified shelter for Malton's veteran survivors.
