Description
Lentell Walk Police Department is a police department located in the suburb of Pescodside along the northern border with Dulston. Of all the police departments in Pescodside this one is considered to have the most, "rootin' tootin' cowboys", quote-unquote. Cowboys or not, the survivors inside Lentell Walk PD are well armed and eager to shoot zombies at the drop of a hat. When the "Malton Incident", or "Return-to-the-Good-'Ol-West-Zombie-Shoot-'Em-Up", occurred (depending on who you ask obviously), many a gun-happy local showed up at Lentell Walk PD to arm themselves. This led to a lot of nearby zombies being shot, followed swiftly by survivors when the zombies started to run out. Ever since both zombies and survivors often end up with bullet holes in them if they hang around Lentell Walk PD long enough.
Noted NecroTech scientist, Caleb Usher, was reported visiting the precinct on several occasions in mid-January in order to bolster relations between the police department and Blaise General Hospital (98,8) in Dulston. Unfortunately these efforts came to naught as on January 20th 2006 zombies overran the hospital forcing survivors, including Caleb, to seek shelter elsewhere.
Mandate
1) To serve and protect all survivors within a 3x3 block grid of the precinct.
2) To maintain resource building barricades at Very Strongly.
3) To maintain non-resource building barricades within a 3x3 block grid at Extremely Heavily. These buildings will act as safe houses for Free Runners attacking zombie groups in the area.
4) To be the best in the West. A true cowboy will realize that being in eastside Malton does little to change this fact. To do so is considered griefing and is punishable by being tied over a horse and driven out of town.
Affiliates
To date police and military personnel stationed at Lentell Walk PD are working hand-in-hand with survivors located in nearby resource buildings, namely:
- Blaise General Hospital (98,8), in Dulston.
- Stembridge Crescent Fire Station (99,9), in Dulston.
- Sadley Way Fire Station (95,11)
Barricade Policy
This building should be Very Strongly (VS+2) barricaded at all times. This is in accordance with the mutually agreed-upon Pescodside Barricade Plan set forth by local survivor groups and the Dulston Alliance, who routinely work together to monitor that the barricades for this building are at the aforementioned level. This building is meant to serve as a shelter for Malton's inexperienced survivors and entry point into other nearby fortified buildings.
Survivors who find the building's barricades below their assigned level are asked to assist in raising them back up in order to help ensure the safety of all the survivors staying inside the building. Any survivor found lowering the barricades may be directly "put to the question" by any member of the Dulston Alliance or vigilante-minded survivor if caught in the act. If this happens the accused survivor is required to present a valid reason for their actions or be labeled a zombie spy/death cultist and be judged accordingly. So always be cautious lest you find yourself summarily executed for crimes against humanity.
Survivors are reminded that should any member of the Dulston Alliance who finds the barricades raised higher that Very Strongly without any apparent danger to the building or area they have the authority to lower the barricades back down to Very Strongly in order to restore access to the building from the outside.
Current Events
September 8th, 2008 - The building and others nearby have been taken by the large horde at Treweeke Mall.
July 16th, 2008 - Cades went back up again but up to EHB this time. Entry points has been established nearby and is VSB. As of this morning it seems that the Zed activity has slowed down. - Boyd
July 15th, 2008 - Cades went back up overnight so I came back from hiding to get more ammo. This morning cades were broken again, 1 zed inside. This time I was able to rebuild the cades but at the cost of not being able to hit the zed. Not sure how many zeds are outside but there are still survivors at risk someone please kill the zed. I will be back once AP is restored to finish building the cades if someone else does not get to it first. - Boyd
July 14th, 2008 - Cades broken 2 Zeds came in. I managed to drop one and dump the body, as well as hurt the second. I have shut the doors but do not have the abilities to rebuild the cades. Due to injuries and low ammo had to leave to find a new hiding place. Please someone rebuild the cades and kill the last Zed there are many survivors still at risk. - Boyd
July 5th, 2008 - 9 zeds outside, 5 inside, building in ruins. --Micah 16:44, 5 July 2008 (BST)
September 18th, 2007 - The building was been raided by zeds 3 times in the last 24 hours. 2 zeds remain outside, with a small amount of stoic survivors inside. Building remains in Survivor hands. --L00TIE
September 3rd, 2006 - The building has been ransacked and a good amount of zombies have taken up residence here. Survivors have tried to clear the building out, but to no avail. The best suggestion put forth at this time was to avoid Lentell Walk PD unless attacking in mass force. That is at least until the Big Bash moves on to new grounds.
September 1st, 2006 - Survivors visit the police station discovered that a large group of the zombies, approximately 10 in number, have taken residence inside. All barricades were destroyed and the doors were left wide open. Survivors are warned to avoid this location if at all possible. --Blue Command Vic
March 9th, 2006 - Lentall Walk PD has been broken into and multiple casualties were reported. Zombie activity in the area has increased from an unknown source. Station barricades broken and zombies are milling around and attacking. Seek shelter elsewhere. --Nukeitall
February 21st, 2006 - We got a call from the Waish Building this morning. Turns out they spotted a zombie right on our doorstep. While they told us a man had been sent to alert the survivors in Treweeke Mall of our little problem, I'm sure we can handle it ourselves.
February 2nd, 2006 - Looks like the trouble brewin' in southwest Pescodside has simmered down a touch. As such, plans for the cowboy chili cook-off are back on. All contestants are reminded that Blaise General Hospital has readied its burn ward should things get out of hand again like last time. Also a reminder that "mystery meat" is no longer allowed to be a listed ingredient.
