Confessions of a NecroTech Employee
The Blackmore Building was a large, multistoried steel and glass building, located in Ridleybank. Its basement complex also housed Zulu Lab. Previously unknown to the public as the main NecroTech laboratory complex in Malton, it was the site of the research on NecroTech's largest project. There were several other labs, such as the Topleaf Building, where I worked. We were working on genomic resequencing; our project was aimed to extend the human lifespan using retroviruses.
I had several occasions to visit the Blackmore Building, being a laboratory assistant, and nothing was exceptionally out of the ordinary. Regardless of the outcome of our research, or whether the populace of Malton feel that we are at fault for the outbreak, I feel that we were neither playing God nor devaluing life.
