Lexicon:Feeding Groans

The time in Malton drags onward. Punctuated solely by the sounds of battle. Cries for help, gunshots, hammers on the barricades. But the scariest thing to hear is the feeding groan of the zombies.

I can't really say what makes it different from the other groans that they make, but when you hear it you know... They are feasting.

The echoes in this city make it nearly impossible to pinpoint the sources of the groans, unless you're outside. From inside, you can't really tell where help is needed.

I am attaching to this transmission a recorded sample of a zombie feeding groan. I found the original copy at an old recording studio. I edited the tape to make the file size smaller, but the original had a taped last will and testament that was recorded as zombies battered down the door. I've saved the hard copy, and if I ever get out of here, I'm bringing it with me.

I hope that you can get this to the people who need it. I've heard rumors of some fledgling projects that seem to be looking into the zombie "psychology" sort of stuff. I hope this will help, I'm pretty sure it's as high a quality recording to base a decoy off of as possible. If the file is corrupted by the intermittent jamming of the satellite links, let me know. We may be able to arrange for "unconventional transport" of the original tape.
