Zombies frequently check inside. Portable Generators have a use other than powering the lights and increasing search probability in hospitals. Players with the Surgery Skill can heal for 15 HP if the Hospital has a fueled up Generator. Hospitals are listed as Tactical Resource Points. Hospitals can be barricaded normally. Among the internal descriptions found in Hospitals: "...its wards and corridors blackened with the soot of a recent fire" "...its empty wards criss-crossed with snapped quarantine tape." "...one of the city's psychiatric hospitals." "...dark corridors leading through abandoned wards." "...its emergency room in disarray." "...its lobby covered with quarantine posters." History

Like every hospital in the quarantine area, this was a regular hospital with its share of broken arms and heart check ups. Regular, steady care was delivered to the residence and workers of Crooketon. Then the crisis began and the ambulances started arriving, the patients and casualties mounted up and just like all the other hospitals the staff and service became swamped. People died and zombies rose. Life changed irrevocably and many died before they adapted or even accepted what was happening. The staff at Margaret General put up a brave resistance but they failed as we were all doomed to do in that time.

Survivors and Resistance have since come and gone but this hospital has been in the hands of desolation now for some time. Currently there is no one here but zombies shuffle about just outside the entrance and about the smokers garden.
