Among the internal descriptions found in Hospitals: "...its wards and corridors blackened with the soot of a recent fire" "...its empty wards criss-crossed with snapped quarantine tape." "...one of the city's psychiatric hospitals." "...dark corridors leading through abandoned wards." "...its emergency room in disarray." "...its lobby covered with quarantine posters." "...a children's hospital with bright murals across the walls. " "The main lobby is riddled with bullet holes." "It was one of the last to be evacuated, and seems to have been cleared out in a hurry." "...a derelict hospital that was closed down years ago."

St. Ferreol's Hospital (Dartside)

Description and some History

This hospital was actually closed well before the outbreak due to its isolated position. It was also made redundant by better equipped hospitals nearby. It is a tall old fashioned building with a clock tower coming out of the roof. Inside the place is deserted. It has bare wooden floors and walls with plaster peeling off. Empty needles can be found lying around is some of the small rooms. Pigeons have used this as a shelter and have left feathers and droppings everywhere. On the second floor there is a room with a huge hole in the floor. After the outbreak the hospital reopened due to the new demand. It is now the head quarters of the group st ferreols doctors.
