Description

Stodgell after renovation

StodgellCinema.jpg

Stodgell Cinema is a modern multi-screen cinema, but has been fairly destroyed since the zombie outbreak.

History

Famed for the one time showing of The Easter Massacre, Stodgell Cinema was built in 1976 and was renovated in 2002. It enjoyed popularity in the suburb due to it's monopoly in the suburb.

Since the Outbreak...

A mob of 20 Zombies once cleared the building of all human life and kept it for five days. On the fifth day The Sun Organization decided if nobody else would do something about it, then they would, despite only having six members at the time. It seems that lady luck herself favored the human race on that day as TSO were able to move in simultaneously and dispatch each and every Zombah' in the building. However, this was only done at the expense of every member of TSO using up every last Ap available. Had fellow residents of Brooke Hills not moved in to barricade the building up again afterwards, the ravenous horde would have shambled straight back in to reclaim the cinema... It was on this day that The Sun Org made their name known throughout BH, since then they've gone from strength to strength in the upholding of the rest of Brooke Hills...

January 2008 has seen Stodgell Cinema a host venue for the Sanitarium Film Festival.
