Suggestion type
Zombie Skill
Suggestion scope
Zombies
Suggestion description
We all know that zombies spend most of their lives outside, that is away from lighted buildings well maybe except when breaking down barricades and entering a lighted building. So basically when a zombie buys "Dark seeking" he gains the ability to see much better in the dark which means that the zombie will have a higher accuracy outside and when inside ruined buildings, which in turn increases the risk(for survivors) of running out of AP outside before finding a safehouse and makes it harder for survivors to reclaim ruined buildings.
Balance-If the zombie buys the skill it will lead to an increase in accuracy outside but when inside a lighted building he will experience a decrease in his accuracy level(basically, just the opposite of survivors who see better in light)This skill thus allows the survivors to put up a further line of defence just by lighting the building up but lose that advantage just as quickly and are put at a disadvantage simply if the generator is taken down or if they are dragged outside.
Please note:-The zombies only experience the same rate of change in accuracy as the survivors who are exposed to light and dark.
Problems-1)The zombies lose their sight in the presence of light,so what wouldn't it cause a problem in permagreen suburbs where there are unecessary generators in buildings with most of them almost always filled with fuel.
Solutions-solution1)Yes,there would be a problem in permagreen suburbs but it has to be kept in mind that Dark seeking is only just a skill which can be bought only the player desires it. Solution2)The zombie can still fight in lighted buildings, genny killing is still just an option,he only has the same reduction in accuracy when he used to be in dark areas. Solution3)Dragging the player out still remains an option if you have the feeding drag skill.
Possible outcomes-Lower level zombies will be able to xp up faster if they have this skill as they usually attack survivors standing outside in the darkness and this skill allows higher hit rates without losing much AP (like they did before),zombie groups will probably allocate people for the sole purpose of genny killing, zombies will start exhibiting traits similiar to movies like dragging people outside often and going for the generators first,The generator will have a greater emphasis in the Urban dead universe

- Kill. Description isn't very clear, sounds like you mixed up unlit and dark buildings, which ain't the same thing. Only Banks, Cinemas and Clubs (also Armories, but those are rare) became dark, when unlit. Otherwise only thing that changes in unlit buildings are search rates (plus rot revive and healing with surgery skill). This part doesn't make sense to me at all: "The zombies only experience the same rate of change in accuracy as the survivors who are exposed to light and dark". So this affects also survivors? Right now survivors don't gain accuracy thanks to light. When Cinema/Bank/Club is unlit, it becomes dark and hit rates are cut in half for everyone. This suggestion looks just unfinished, missing hard numbers and specifics. --Labla 14:10, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
