I'm getting really confused by this. Now where does romero show only bites cause zombies? Or more importantly where does he state it doesn't?
Of the top of my head I can't think of any occurences.

In the very first movie, it is clearly stated that all dead are rising, regardless of the cause of death. However, a little girl turns zombie once she's bitten.--Luke Skywalker 17:35, 6 April 2008 (BST)
