2005sep14 Dossy: What's the etiquette on asking for a revivification? I've finally been killed and being a zombie isn't much fun.

You can try to arrange one via a request to a mailing list, specifying your location, but just waiting outside a NecroTech building has worked for me in the past. --Spiro 12:26, 14 Sep 2005 (BST)
Of course, most players won't see NecroTech buildings... As a similar idea, you could try standing around a hospital. As far as the actual ettiquette goes, I think it hasn't really formed yet. Obviously, many groups coordinate using out-of-game communications, but I can understand why some people wouldn't like that. John 16:13, 14 Sep 2005 (BST)
I've seen a few buildings with "stand here to be revivified" spraypainted on the outside. But any barricaded office building with corpses and maybe a couple of zombies outside is most likely an NT building, I think. --Spiro 16:18, 14 Sep 2005 (BST)
Or if you don't consider using the map too metagamey, they're the ones with their names written in red. A good bet if there are any survivors hanging around, particularly ones with Lab Experience, is to go "Mrh?" at them and hope they get the hint. Morlock 17:53, 14 Sep 2005 (BST)

action points vanishing

every time I log into the game it uses an action point in a search of the area. its not a huge deal because many times that is what I want to do, but sometimes I dont. why is this happening and/or how can I stop it.

You may be logging in to the search script. Try typing in www.urbandead.com and logging in there. That might help solve your problem. --OmegaPaladin 02:56, 15 July 2006 (BST)

server limit bollocks

If I hit my servor limit of 160 hits around 11 pm EST, I don't understand why it still tells me that I've hit the server too many times the next morning.

the server runs on GMT not EST. I believe the reset of the limit whould be at 19.00 EST if I calculated correctly.--Vista 22:32, 27 July 2006 (BST)

Confuzzled

Ok, I logged out of one character, and then logged into another. But every time I try to perform an action as the newly logged in character, it brings me right back to the first character I logged in as. I kept logging out and logging back in, only to have fewer AP. It's been a few days now, and I still can't use any of my other characters. If anyone followed that, got any ideas?
