Participant Sign-Up

A deadline will be announced shortly, and only people who sign up here before then will be allowed to fight in the Manhunt.

This is only to keep track of the official contenders of the Manhunt, which is now harder because we are all in separate groups.

Rules

  • While people who missed the deadline will still physically be able to come and kill people, they will not have their kills officially recorded and they won't be able to win.
  • You can sign up for a friend, given you have the permission
  • sign ups after the cutoff date will not be accepted! (talk to me if you miss it, I might slip you in, its just the principle)
  • You might also want to leave a comment voicing you opinion on the location, time and rules of future Manhunt.
  • The cut-off date for signing up is 30th of January.

Sign-up List

Dance, you said I could play as a zombie, but you removed the text saying I said you said I could. (if that makes any sense). So, can I? --Jonzay 09:22, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

I got rid of it because it was redundant. If you play as a zombie you won't be able to win, you can only win as a survivor. and if you DO die, it's someones duty to report it, else you aren't recorded as dying. DanceDanceRevolution 10:07, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

Is anyone allowed to participate, or only people in certain groups? --Dozer McB 22:23, 14 January 2008 (PST)

NEXT MANHUNT

After a well fought manhunt, I have got the bug and have some suggestions. May I suggest/propose the next manhunt. I agree with keeping the Ex-BBK Manhunt an annual deal, it is great fun for our members, however I am here to present an idea for an open invitation manhunt. Anybody can join, as many people as we can get, however we still keep the 2x2 grid. With enough participation, this new manhunt could become a new event for Maltons citizens. It would be mad if we could get this going and even set the starting date for some time in March. I know myself and Nick are quite keen on helping to maintain the wiki page, as I am sure Charlie is too. Just think of it, templates, rivalries, deaths and hilarity. It could become quite an event. Somebody get back to me so we can get this underway.--MichaelRead 10:55, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

It sounds sweet, I've been thinking of an open manhunt since the start of this 2008 one. There are some issues regarding the policing and proving of cheating in the manhunt if it's open, so we'll need to talk about that. I'm going to create a manhunt portal page for all manhunts, past, present and future.
Also, if anyone has any suggestions regarding new competitions and games we can have in Urban Dead, feel free to suggest them, and we may be able to make a Malton City Games series. DanceDanceRevolution 05:01, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Cheating

Just found the character 'openlygator' inside the manhunt zone. I know this is a particular persons alt. I do have a screenshot. Please remove your alt and stop cheating.--Scurley7 08:44, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

It is YOU who is openlygator. Dont think I don't remember, you little bastard.--MichaelRead 11:40, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
i thought he was openlygay-tor.--Dandy 69 20:30, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
Do you know specifically who's account it is? DanceDanceRevolution 07:11, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
dude thats my alt. i moved him from sant to the manhunt area to give me a revive (the only way i knew how to get a revive in 4 suburbs that i am unaware of location of RPs), an unecessary revive due to scurley7's "silly antics", and when i say silly antics i mean cock sucking; i dont believe i should be disadvantaged by waiting for a revive either and hence moved an alt into the area, however i understand that this has consequences (not the cocksucking [ask curley]the other point). I argue the point that i would have removed "openlygator" ASAP from the manhunt area but having to move the character from santlerville to the area and then reviving, resulted in negative AP. If others are worried that i have been using my alt to scout this is not the case and obviously i cannot prove this i assure you no such thing has occured. If this is judged by charlie to be illegal or "cheating" i will face the decided punishment. whatevs its just a game --Wilsonzmb918 10:07, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Zombie Horde

I'm looking to create a zombie horde of characters either playing as zombies during the manhunt or those who have already been eliminated such as myself. This horde would hunt down characters still participating in the manhunt and hopefully kill them. Who knows, we might even be able to kill some randoms too. Let me know either here or on my tlak page if you are interested.--Scurley7 12:15, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

WTF IZ A TLAK PAGE LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL --MichaelRead 12:27, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

protest

CURLEY LIKES COCK IN AND AROUND HIS MOUTH.

--Wilsonzmb918 10:59, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

agreed. I vote that Curley be disqualified from the next manhunt. Not because he couldn't hack being dead, and thought that interfering would be funny, but because Wilson told me he likes cock in and around his mouth. You all know we dont take too lightly to them "fags" around here.--MichaelRead 11:02, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
And wilson prides himself on his dick-taking ablilities. You say I can't hack being dead? How? What I did was in what I believed to be in the scope of the rules. If they were then that's Charlies call and I won't go against it--Scurley7 11:26, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
Even if it was in the rules to do what you did, it is just gay to do something like that. I just expected people weren't so unsportsmanlike. This has nothing to do with the spice girls, nothing at all. I just think that spying as a human, and then telling somebody to go and kill them.....who in this world WOULD think that was ok? I would say that wasn't in the rulebook because nobody expected anyone to be lame enough to be a joykill and go ahead and do it. ily but.--MichaelRead 11:31, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
Oh I get it now. For me to do it to one of you guys is 'unsportsmanlike', but if say nick were to have found me, but hadnt had enough AP to kill me and told one of his team members, ie you, and they killed me instead, that would be ok? Seems somewhat hypocritical. Also I wasn't out spying for people. I was leaving the area. I thought the manhunt was restricted to North and South Blythville so when I found wilson outside of that area, I assumed he was cheating. Ask wilson or evie, I said that to them both. Look if what I did was against the rules, ok, I accept it. Just stop fucking whinging. oh and iflyti.--Scurley7 11:39, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
Not whinging, tbqh, just, IMHO, I don't think that you are v. nice. ok? x--MichaelRead 11:42, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
Well it would be 'unsportsmanlike' if nick told us... unless we were playing as a group. And if you hadn't stopped to suck dick on the way home on friday you wouldn't be dead.--Dandy 69 21:36, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
KUDOS TO DANDY.--Wilsonzmb918 04:10, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

I would like to claim the wilson rule as it took most of the ATO to bring me down. and while charlie was alive when he killed he did little damage to me.--Dandy 69 10:08, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

What are you talking about with a 'wilson rule'? DanceDanceRevolution 20:36, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
The one where dead people cant act as scouts for living members. I think we were all under the impression once u were dead u could consult with each other but not with humans, no matter what group theyre in.dandy got lazy and forgot to check the page for a response.... --GomerPyle41 03:43, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
It's a shame I scouted for them as an active, alive manhunt contestant, much like I have been this whole manhunt, and then told 5 other zombie teammates. That was never illegal was it. DanceDanceRevolution 09:44, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Well yeah you didn't do anything against the rules, but if I were you I would refrain from using the word "teammates" considering the ATO were (supposedly) working as two teams, not one. It isn't illegal, but it is mighty suspicious. I doubt that anyone would get the same support if it had been an ATO member (from the "other" ATO team) you had stumbled across.--MichaelRead 09:59, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

welll

can somebody email/send me the profile links again?

also,

spice girls taking control. chyeah.!

haha--MichaelRead 08:45, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

more organisation?

so if event is going to take place in few weeks, maybe it's time to decide finally on the corner-stone issues? Location, teams - how to split up, how to limit, to actually split up, etc?.. It's all very fuzzy in article --~~~~ [talk] 20:36, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

The location is where it is specified in the article, South Blythville, North Blythville, Mornington and Wykewood. As for teams, it seems that the players that are playing by themself are willing to do so, so that leaves one group of 6 and one group of 7. The Spice Girl's don't want a split because they are a group of 6, and they outlevel the group of 7 ATO members. What do you think, split for the ATO: yay or nay? DanceDanceRevolution 22:58, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
eh... i don't have profiles of most of people, so not able to say --~~~~ [talk] 07:16, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
i think its fine like that. But in the event that all the singles die and there's only the members of the 2 teams left there should be a individual category winner. And i think the groups have to target each other to an extent, but provided that happens the 2 groups seem even. Ooo duke i bumped into Clueless Traveller in Giddings the other week...--Jed 23:28, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
I know, i healed you once or twice. you might not heard me "saying hi" due to 50-man limit though. i'm still in giddings, though moving out soon --~~~~ [talk] 07:16, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

profiles

when do we get 'em?--Jed 07:10, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

dude

before it starts you need to clarify everything. theres lots of stuff on the pages thats pretty ambiguous. and you should mention it runs to AEST time, for the duke. and as i mentioned earlier, when do we get profiles!??! Coz theres only a few days left and i'm PANICKING!--Jed 05:20, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

You get them at the cut-off date, I'm opening up the possibility that the whole spice girl crew will turn up, or some last-minute signups. DanceDanceRevolution 23:18, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
ok, i'm confused a bit now. AEST, like australian east Australian Eastern Standard Time, UTC + 10 or used in North America Eastern Standard Time, UTC - 5 hours?.. So did it already began or not? --~~~~ [talk] 21:31, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
p.s. why not just use wiki's time --~~~~ [talk] 21:58, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Pretty Link

hey, i made this http://manhunt08.qlnk.net which points to the main page. I think it should be used when making a kill to ensure randoms aren't confused over the PKing. Obivously its not compulsory but i intend to and you guys are all more then welcome to share the love.--Jed 06:31, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

My first kill

I didn't know where else to post this, so here's me killing Jed this morning. Do we have a place to put our kills and screenshots down like last time?--Nick 04:34, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

i killed tdep and strong'bad but dont know how to put screenshots up so yer. when i figure that out, i will put em up. but the good news is that ive already done better than last time. --Shakey60 05:00, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

scheisse... log on just 15 min after Nick got me :/ --~~~~ [talk] 13:16, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

Haha, sorry Duke. Man I did feel bad doing it. But here's the screenshot just to rub it in.
