Talk:Republic of Scarletwood
A response from the GBP
Recently, we recieved this message on the GBP wiki discussion page:
"Hello. This is ShadowScope. I have sent a message to the GBP but I believe it has not been reached. Basically, we have founded a new nation, the Republic of Scarletwood, and we would like to have an alliance. We are not wanting to PK, or anything bad. Rather, we are busy trying to rebuild our economy, to help Scarletwood return back to normal. We have already been succesful restarting a Vodka Factory, and is contiuning to do more economic projects. Our Republic is netural in the Zombie-Human War, and we accept both Zombies and Humans in our ranks, but we do not like our subhurb to be invaded by enemies, zombies or humans. You have experience in defense, and we hope our cooperation will help protect this land.
I await your reply."--ShadowScope 02:16, 28 March 2006 (BST) |
Here is the GBP's response (as taken by Buncy The Frog):
Members of the Republic of Scarletwood,
The GBP is dedicated to the defense of Scarletwood against any threats, whether it be PKing or a zombie horde. However, we realize that a district cannot go without zombie activity. It will grow stale and meaningless. In this regard we commend your support of both humans and zombies. We also admire your dedication to the sauce, as the GBP enjoys sharing drinks at any opportunity presented to it. In this regard we also commend you (a lot actually, the more booze the better).
It is the decision of the GBP to join the republic on the grounds that there will be no undue action that impedes on GBP "property" (For the moment this includes the Garniss Building, the Sealey Building, and the hospitals) in the matters of barricade policy. The Garniss was selected for its proximity to resources, and we are both capable and willing to upkeep these three extra buildings. We ask that you do not overwrite our graffiti, and we will not overwrite yours. Also, a lightly binding trade of services is asked. If the GBP deems it nessicary, we will request assistance within the Scarletwood area, and within reasonable limits outside the Scarletwood boundary. This may be in regard to securing and maintaining resources and safehouses, dealing with zombie masses, or pkers. The GBP will extend this same assistance whenever possible.
Lastly we ask that you consult of inform us of any major changes in Scarletwood's infastructure (such as the implementation of a district-wide barricade policy or any major actions that would pose a threat to the survivors within Scarletwood).
The GBP welcomes you to Scarletwood and wishes you luck in establishing yourselves.
I await your acceptance of these terms, or a suggestion of change. BuncyTheFrog 04:28, 28 March 2006 (BST)
- Thank you BuncyTheFrog. We accept your terms. Though, note that we are netural in the Zombie-Human War, and will try to make similar agreements of understanding with organized zombie hordes. Such agreements do not mean an alliance, as we are netural, and rather, as just in the same vein as the one you have just proposed. While we will fight against the feral Zombie hordes and PKers, we may not be able to assist you if an organized zombie horde attack, due to the fact that if we would involve ourselves in said conflict, we would be jeporidizing our neturality. Hopefully, such an invasion will not happen. So, where do we deliver the vodka to celeberate our welcoming? :)--ShadowScope 01:54, 29 March 2006 (BST)
- The booze can be delievered to the Garniss, or one of the many buildings in Scarletwood where GBP supporters are stationed. I am not personally in the Garniss, but there is at least one leader there to welcome anyone who may come by.
I have heard reports that there is a zombie hoarde approaching Scarletwood, though it is unknown wheither they plan to attack in this district or not. Also, reports of DARIS approaching have also been receieved. While we know the first issue cannot be resolved with your support, we ask that you keep vigillant and watchfull for DARIS members.
I do need to point out though that if our members seem to be targeted, or the Garniss is constantly being attacked by members of your group, we will have to ask your group to cease and desist or lose support for the survivor aspect of your group (no cruelty intended, but we need to watch out for our members, and we don't want knowledge we may give you abused in any way)

Scarletwood Barricade Policy
It should be known that the GBP will be implementing a barricade policy for Scarletwood around tuesday. We're informing you of this because if you want to establish yourself in Scarletwood, it'd help to have some say. I notice that we have two of your buildings as VS, but these correspond to recent barricade readings of Scarletwood, so if you want them changed to EHB let me know. I'll be publicly releasing it to the Scarletwood wiki page soon, but if you want an advance look, it's in our talk page. Note that at the moment it's within the GBP approval process.BuncyTheFrog 00:51, 3 April 2006 (BST)
The policy has passed internal inspection and is now public. See Scarletwood Barricade Policy for the policy and to make any suggestions.
Claimed Buildings
I see you claimed a few buildings, however I just went to the Vodka Factory, and there was no Scarletwood Republic members there... You shouldn't claim a building you are not operating... -Certified=InsaneUG
