Necrotic Pathogen
I'm the inventor of the Don't. Mess. With. APs. dance, so I think I owe you an explanation why I agree with the Paralytic Bite (and therefore Necrotic Pathogen) AP loss suggestion. If you read the suggestion guidelines, it doesn't say don't alter APs at all. It just means, Don't go over the current refresh ratio (48APs/day), in order to be fair to people who can afford only few minutes a day to play UD, and Don't massively crush APs because it's not fun when you log in and find you have only 30APs to use. A few, balanced loss of APs while online is ok with me, since it still allows you to make strategies ("ok, I've been bited so I won't go around killing zombies but find a safehouse ASAP here around and ask for a FAK."). Just my two cents, anyway. Any comments and further discussion is more than welcome. --Seagull Flock 10:34, 6 Dec 2005 (GMT)

This suggestion has appeared to disappear from the face of the earth, should someone stick it back? -Kryten 11:14, 6 Dec 2005 (GMT)EDIT: I found the latest copy of the Suggestions page with it on http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php?title=Suggestions&oldid=50218 -Kryten 11:17, 6 Dec 2005 (GMT)
Vomiting
Ok, since people here seem to have a serious problem with my suggestions based on vomiting alone, feel free to list alternate ideas for the name here. --TheTeeHeeMonster 20:38, 6 Dec 2005 (GMT)
- Well played. I'm not agaist the extra damage idea, just new attacks... and vomit. How about "Fever". Maybe if a infected player moves x times without healing then they are vunerable to increesed damage? --bbrraaiinnss 21:29 Dec 6 2005
- Upchuck? Hurl? Puke? Personally I liked the vomiting idea; who knows what kind of hell the virus could be doing to a digestive system. --Kulatu 21:33, 6 Dec 2005 (GMT)
- Bio Projectile? The zombie rips off a small chunk of infected flesh and tosses it at the target. Each attack costs one HP and does (insert appropriate amount of damage here), and causes a special effect (I dunno, maybe the victim loses attack accuracy and barricade chances until cured or something). - KingRaptor 05:51, 7 Dec 2005 (GMT)

Moved from discussion, on the topic of how vomiting works:
- Well, yeah, but that just makes it grosser, not a deeper wound. If you mean the wound gets infected, then make it so being covered in vomit makes the person susceptible to infection from all attacks, not just bite. --Dickie Fux 20:59, 6 Dec 2005 (GMT)
- Ok, I see what you mean here. Didn't understand it at first. But here's what I'm thinking: the vomit gets inside you, which introduces some not-nice stuff that came from inside the zombie, bringing you closer to death, or in game mechanics, dealing one extra damage. --TheTeeHeeMonster 22:08, 6 Dec 2005 (GMT)
- That sounds to me like a perfect description of the idea behind Infectious Bite. Maybe if the idea were that the survivor is so distracted by being covered in puke that they don't dodge attacks as well, but I think it would make the most sense if it were some kind of result of being afraid, and use the vomit concept for something different. --Dickie Fux 14:48, 7 Dec 2005 (GMT)
