Knock Back (Revised)

Comment - Should it be added to the Dos and Don'ts that people shouldn't be allowed to force other, non dead body players to move? I've seen lots of suggestions like this that were ripped to pieces over this point. FireballX301 08:55, 8 Jan 2006 (GMT)

  • The difference here, is that this is no different than "Dump body", which already exist (and I suspect existed since when barricades existed). It doesn't change the square in which the character is, doesn't put him in more danger. It DOES slow down the offensive, and certainly shoudn't be implemented until a few more pro-zombie skills/features are added, but it's not by far the spam people are saying it is. --McArrowni 02:56, 9 Jan 2006 (GMT)
    • "Dump" body existed before headshot was implemented.--The General 11:59, 9 Jan 2006 (GMT)
      • Okay, so I'm a few days late here. Knockback got spammed because, in general, it's easier to rebuild barricades than to deal with zombies who have broken in. In my experience, one zombie with 50 AP can fully knock down barricades at Strongly with a reasonable chance of success, and from E.H. with a great deal of luck. However, it only requires about 20 AP from a survivor to completely rebuild barricades from nothing. So, if zombies can be instantly knocked down and dumped (instead of forcing one or multiple survivors to spend the AP to kill the zeds before they rebuild and sleep soundly), survivors handily win the AP war. Just my take on the issue. Bentley Foss 06:40, 14 Jan 2006 (GMT)

Discussion after removal

Well then, why didn't you just leave it alone and let it die? --Signal9 03:37, 9 Jan 2006 (GMT)

Because it was unable to die. I came to aid as nobody was voting or making any new suggestions. It was an attempt to stop the childish insults. --ALIENwolve 03:38, 9 Jan 2006 (GMT)
9 Kills, 2 of them Spams, author keep, useless instakill skill, I think it was dying pretty well. --Signal9 03:45, 9 Jan 2006 (GMT)
There was an extra keep from the original author. But does it matter? If the flaming ended now it would be better than later. Why are we even having this discussion? It was dead as an AIDS victim. --ALIENwolve 03:50, 9 Jan 2006 (GMT)
Oh. An AIDS victim. Nice. Har-de-har-har, creep. Keep Discussion on the Discussion page. -- Amazing 04:42, 9 Jan 2006 (GMT)
He also deleted the entire Suggestions page and replaced it with "All your base are belong to us". AllStarZ 05:08, 9 Jan 2006 (GMT)
Yeh I saw that. It was actually fun to walk through the history and watch all of that happen. --Signal9 06:50, 9 Jan 2006 (GMT)
Definitely a newb, or he would've realized that its pretty damn easy to restore the page from the history tab at the top. Anyways, didn't ALIENwolve remove it after TeaBags did his little trick? AllStarZ 08:22, 9 Jan 2006 (GMT)
No - TeaBags was messing with the votes on the suggestion, then ALIENwolve removed it, and then TeaBags started messing with the rest of the page. --Signal9 00:03, 10 Jan 2006 (GMT)
We were having this discussion because you removed something against the rules and that's a no-no. Well, in this case, I don't really care because he was waaay too immature. --Signal9 06:55, 9 Jan 2006 (GMT)
Yeah, what was this guy's problem with me, anyway? --TheTeeHeeMonster 23:46, 9 Jan 2006 (GMT)
Speaking of which: if he called you a baby then why is he the one banned? --ALIENwolve 00:52, 10 Jan 2006 (GMT)
You shouldn't call TheTeeHeeMonster a baby in a public forum/wiki/whatever. He could read it and start crying, you know. ;) --hagnat 22:24, 10 Jan 2006 (GMT)
