Thundercats home base
I recommend the Thundercats try using St Alexanders Hospital in Lockettside as a home.
It's full of peace-loving survivors (mostly). --Stephen Colbert DFA 16:57, 1 October 2008 (BST)
Thanks for the recommendation but no. I do not trust PKers and according to your homepage that is exactly what you are. We will find a place and it wont be anywhere near you! --Lady Cheetara 01:28, 2 October 2008 (BST)
- Well that's downright rude. You see, I only recommended that location because it is often occupied by peaceniks such as yourself. There aren't nearly enough of them to assure stability, so I naturally assumed your groups could be mutually beneficial. Enjoy your gaming. --Stephen Colbert DFA 20:28, 2 October 2008 (BST)
Its not rude.. I said thanks.. hehe. Its just honestly Im not going to let it be known publicly where our home is. Anyways.. thanks for thinkin about peaceful areas. I will enjoy my gaming, hehe hope ya do too! lol --Lady Cheetara 01:51, 3 October 2008 (BST)
Please check who you help
Recently a member of the Regulators Alliance witnessed Lady Cheetara, as you see here, healing up the local griefer hirvitys.
I realise that you're new and likely don't know about the local bad guys, but if you take a quick look at this guy's record you'll see he is the very definition of a griefer. Seriously, these are people that even most hardened PKers think of as jerks. (Not to mention, the guy is absolutely without style or flair in his kills.)
In areas deemed safe, it is ALWAYS a good idea to check in with the Rogues Gallery and/or one of the other record keeping services of this sort, such as the Zerg Liste or the Ignore List. Griefers, zergers and text rapists are pretty much the bottom of the barrel in Malton.
For the record, I'm normally a local, but I'm on walkabout right now partially because of hirvitys. I hope to get to meet you under more pleasant circumstances in the future. --Queen Mum 19:04, 6 October 2008 (BST)
- OH MY! **Hits self over the head with her paw** Im a stupid cat! lol Im so very sorry for that I really had no idea that person was a griefer. I am new to the area so I haven't yet heard of the evil that lurks here besides zombies. Thundercats DO NOT in any way tolerate this sort of behavior, we fight all evil not just zombies. Again please accept my apologies and I seek forgiveness. This will not happen again I will check on people that I heal to make sure they are not griefers or PKers. I personally when playing UD do NOT AT ALL like griefers, zergers or text rapists and have been a victim myself to that. So again my apologies for healing a guy that has griefed people in this area. I now have him on my list and will be sure to run him out of this area. He will not mess with this ThunderCat! Again so that everyone knows ThunderCats do not tolerate griefers or anything of this sort. You will not see me healing up a griefer, pker, or zerger again. I will do my best to NEVER do that. Please accept my apologies. --Lady Cheetara 19:54, 6 October 2008 (BST)
- Wow, all this drama over you healing someone you had absolutely no reason to suspect of anything? Must we start probing the background of every individual we interact with in game? It's a game. I think a simple "hey, if you see that guy again, don't help him out, he's a griefer" would have sufficed. --Stiff Kittens 22:16, 6 October 2008 (BST)
- Thank you, Cheetara. (I left a more elaborate thanks on your talk page ;) )
- Stiff, given that some people don't believe things unless you give them evidence, I wanted to make sure I had my bases covered, especially as I have no idea how new any of you are to UD. As I said elsewhere, this guy's been at it for over a year, hitting the same small group of people, so it's a bit of a sore spot, yeah.
- As for probing the background of people you encounter, it's not a bad idea if your group is going to have a policy about say, not reviving PKers. People on the Zerg Liste and Ignore are on Rogues as well. If you run Firefox, there's a simple and inobtrusive Greasemonkey script here called ActOnProfile that makes it just an easy click from a person's profile page. What you do with that information is up to you.
- Any rate, cheers for the understanding. I look forward to seeing you around - we like cats around here! --Queen Mum 23:57, 6 October 2008 (BST)
- Thank you for the kind interaction Queen Mum. We will try our best to stay on top of the local criminals in your area. I agree with Stiff Kittens that we dont always have the time to check the Rogue, some people who play UD find quick ways of leveling up when they are new. However, when coming into a new area we can check with the locals to see if there are any criminals like zergers, griefers, etc that we should be aware of. So now that I am aware all is good! hehe Wont be happening again. And yes I look forward to see you around as well. Thanks for the interaction, I am glad our groups are working together to rid Malton of the evil zombies and that awful Mumm-Ra! hehe Take care --Lady Cheetara 01:17, 7 October 2008 (BST)
