- I agree with the esteemed gentlemen. Are we the most developed wiki of this type? --Rosslessness 17:31, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
- I dare say yes. I've played many other browser games and many of them have wikis. None of those other wikis have a community like UDWiki and have only a fraction of the amount of pages. I could probably read the entirety of itswar wiki in one browsing session. Here, I could go down a rabbit hole and lose myself for hours at a time and still never scratch the surface of its content. The community is what really sets it apart. Not just the current, reduced community but the culmination of its tens of thousands of its users and their contributions. That's what makes it a First World Wiki. ~ 00:09, 17 January 2013 (UTC)
- The only ones I can think of that are larger (by an imperfect metric, content pages) are RuneScape Wiki and NSWiki. I know nothing about the former; the latter does have a strong community, because the Wiki is one of three main places where roleplaying in NationStates happens (the others being the official forums and the game itself), but a more dispersed one, with a large number of minimally active editors and a small amount of administration. - Perhaps a rewording is in order . That is a lot of roleplay going on at the NSWiki. Is it one of those situations where the wiki becomes the game for people? I took a quick stroll around and found several very serious articles revolving around a nation state that consists entirely of My Little Pony fans (they call themselves sentient equines). I know the rules are still a little sketchy, but that alone may diqualify them from First World Wiki status. ~ 01:20, 17 January 2013 (UTC)
