Template talk:Suggestion Voting
From The Urban Dead Wiki

I am modifying this template. There are some issues with the examples, and a typo. The blank lines in the example improve readability, sure, but apart from taking up valuable space on the page, they also give the false impression that you are supposed to have blank lines between #
's, which breaks the number ordering.
This may be a coincidence, but I'm of the opinion, "Better safe than sorry." –Xoid S•T•FU! 02:25, 31 May 2006 (BST)
Request
===Invalid Votes=== *Change If the suggestion's current form does not have merit, Kill is the appropriate vote. Change votes will be deleted. *Kill/Change, Keep, but Change, Keep/Change - These votes will result in the only valid part of your vote being counted; the change part is completely ignored during the vote tallying. If you only want the suggestion to be kept if it's changed, vote Kill and ask them to re-suggest with your changes. *Server Load and Programming Complexity are NOT very good Kill reasons. You are voting on the merit of the suggestion and whether or not you think it belongs in the game. Server load/complexity issues are up to Kevan to decide. *X should be implemented first is not a valid reason for a vote. You are voting on the merit of THIS suggestion, not how it compares to others. *Votes that do not have reasoning behind them are invalid. You MUST justify your vote.
That last point needs to be highlighted, or something. --SirensT RR 07:59, 3 September 2006 (BST)
