The Hippocratic Oath is a survivor group dedicated to treating all characters that are in need of medical attention by supporting the Hippocratic Oath Policy.

Chain of Command & Organization

There is no chain of command for the most part. The nature of this group is to go where ever our help is needed while healing whoever we come across along the way. Since every one has their own style of play we offer a few subgroups for members to choose what fits them best. All communication is done through the groups forum

Subgroups

For those of you who want to be a member but still do your own thing with little resonsibility, you may join the Private Practice subgroup. The only requirement is to follow the Hippocratic Oath Policy during your time in Malton.

For Those of you who need a little more action in their life we offer the Emergency Medical Technician subgroup. As an EMT, you will travel with a small team to any suburb that is under attack, treat the injured and revive the dead.

For those that seek some stabillity, we offer the Intensive Care subgroup. As a Intensive Care specialist, you will work in a small group to manage a revive point and help people get back on their feet. Currently, we do not have a revive point, however one will be set up once we have some volunteers.

The Forum

All members must register at the forum and check it on occasion to stay informed of the latest group news. So stop by and say hi. The only rules of the forum is to be respectful of the other group members and to keep your posts some what clean.

Does this group support player killing?

No, player killing is a crime but even though we may not like it, it's not up to us to pass judgment.

How about random revives?

Never random revive! For a character that prefers to play as the walking undead, it is a pain to be brought back to the side of the living. While we're on the subject, it's best to avoid combat reviving as well for the same reason.

So you want to join?

The only requirement to join is an interest in healing any one in need no matter who they are. The only restriction for membership is, you can not have Brain Rot. Your history doesn't matter as long as you are now dedicated to helping others.

To request membership, just post on the groups forum that you would like to join along with your character name, Urban Dead profile ID and your desired subgroup. Check back in a couple days for a response and to see if you've been added to the member list.

Once a member you must change your group name to The Hippocratic Oath, register on the forum and follow the Hippocratic Oath Policy. The components of the Hippocratic Oath Policy are as follows:

1. All characters in need of medical attention must be treated, regardless of their past actions in Malton.
2. All zombies standing within a designated revive point must be revived no matter who they were in life or what they may have done.
3. Never harm another survivor unless it is in self defense, the Rouges Gallery will be checked every now and then just to make sure no one has been reported.
