What is the Total War Regiment?

The Regiment is formed for players that are willing to fight it out with all enemies. We work in a regimented fasion. Willingness to work together as a team is what sets us apart from many other groups inside of Malton. We do not claim any area of Malton and so are not shackled to any particular geographical area of Malton which gives us more flexibility in combating our enemies. We are not evil. We are not saintly. We are simply in to win and will not let conventional moral or ethical constraints keep us from acheiving our goals. We are one unit made up of several parts.

  • Advance teams: These are seekers. They patrol around the main body looking for targets of opportunity, hideouts, and other forms of danger.
  • Strikers: These soldiers are the teeth of the unit. Maxxed out with weaponry they deliver the big blows to our enemies.
  • Medics: An integral part of any military operation these skilled soldiers carry and dispense first aid and revives to their brothers in arms.

How do I join The Total War Regiment?

Be Proactive!!!

Contact us on the forum if you:

  • Want to work in a group setting,
  • Can be in Malton in the evenings (PST),
  • Are tired of the "established" groups and their diplomatic ties holding you down,
  • Are not afraid of constant fighting (Killing, getting killed, being revived, repeat)

What can the Regiment offer you?:

  • A secure forum,
  • Experience
  • Coordinated team action.
  • Faster revives/heals
  • Back-up. We live and die as a group.

Goals

War is our primary focus. The never-ending conflict between the undead and Maltons huddled masses is a useful training ground and we use this conflict to our advantage. Here a statement of general operation in order of importance:

  • Have fun - This is priority one. Coordinated group warfare is what our members have fun doing!
  • Fight to win. Know the mission and hit your target.
  • Render whatever assistance or support you can to other Regimental soldiers.
  • Know our mission and communicate via Forum or IM. Know your job and do it to your best ability.
  • Get to Level 41 quickly. Guides to getting there can be found on the Forum. Assingments will be issued with individual abilities in mind.
  • Due to the cost of syringes in both item space and AP we reserve them for members first.

Guidlines

  • Avoid staying overnight in resource buildings. These are targets for Zeds and PKers alike.
  • Barricades: These should be left to local stationary groups, unless mission specific.
  • Scouting: Information is useful. We scout for the enemy, but report other sightings. (eg zed hordes, non-enemy PK group members)
  • Marketing: Market our group. Whenever assistance is given, give our group name. Leave tags.

  • Instigating Conflict: Make no group specific statements without authorization. Spokesmen will be assigned. This goes for other forums, the wiki, as well as in-game.
  • Preparedness: Maintain vigilance in-game. Always be locked and loaded. Have the right equipment for your specific job.

Alliances

Terms of alliances will only be accepted if it is a general truce with other pro-suvivor groups. No conditions regarding third parties will be accepted. No PK groups need apply.

Contact us here to discuss an alliance. Current Confirmed Alliances

Leaders

Bunkis, former Lieutenant of the Blackhawk Nations elite corpse "Pale Riders", is the founder of the TWR. Seeing a need for an elite nomadic combat force, with no binding agreements with other groups, he resigned his membership and worked to set up this new force.
