You are inside a boathouse, the planked floor surrounding an empty square of water. Thin beams of light find ways through spaces in the roof, filtered by disturbed dust.
Somebody has etched the words seclusion is redundant when the dead world leaves you alone onto a wooden plank.
- You look around, immediately noticing the absence of a boat. Not that you really wanted to brave Black River again, even in a boat. The corrupt waters may find a way to pluck an unfortunate knot out from under a boat should it be wooden, or release screws somehow if it were metal.
There is a rotting wooden counter here, the table surface bowing down to the form of an uneven depression. You search the counter, finding a flare gun, which you find a place in your vest to keep. There is also a note, and a sleeping bag nearby.
Since your last turn:
- • You find a flare gun. (1 second ago)
Possible actions:
- Read the note Examine the sleeping bag
Inventory:
- You carry a knife, a journal, a bloodied radio and a flare gun. You have a pistol (4) and three spare magazines inside your vest pouches. You are wearing a tactical vest, blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a pair of shoes.
