You are on the shoreline and outside a rickety-old boathouse along Black River. The corrupt waters rush by, bringing with it unsavoury debris. Rotting wooden planks cover muddy ground. A cliff blocks access to the rest of the city, with a dark cave lurking in a recess.
There is a sign here that reads PRIVATE PROPERTY - TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED hung near the door of the boathouse.
- You try your radio. It still works. The batteries are good. But you get nothing. Must be a range thing, that's why you haven't gotten any calls for the missing new guy. Why you haven't heard Tammy shout through the static, saying 'Oi! Nincompoop! Pick up! Clumsy oaf, falling off a bridge, haha!' or the stalwart leader Ross, instructing 'We'll find you, we'll get to you, just stay put!'
Or Doug grunting. Izzy with an eloquent insult. Jen trying to talk you through it.
What is this. Are you already so sentimental toward these folk you call friends? You say they are your friends, so soon after meeting them, so soon missing them after only the mere prologue of your separation. Is there no doubt in your mind about them, at all? Are you that trusting?
The dark cave beckons to you on the cliff side. It is your way out. Back to your friends, eventually. If you may learn of their location. A better radio, from a Police Station, would do it. Best to head there, where-ever there may be.
Since your last turn:
- • 28.63 MHz: *static* *silence* *nothing* (5 seconds ago)
Possible actions:
- Go to the cave
Inventory:
- You carry a knife, a journal, a bloodied radio and a flare gun. You have a pistol (4) and three spare magazines inside your vest pouches. You are wearing a tactical vest, blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a pair of shoes.
