You are on a street blocked by a 10ft wall made of steel and concrete. There is no obvious entranceway. A proliferation of signs state in a dozen ways that the way past is restricted.
A particularly large sign reads:
- THIS WALL FOR YOUR SAFETY.
- DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLIMB. DO NOT LOITER. DO NOT TAKE PICTURES.
- NON-AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL WILL BE REMOVED.
- RESTRICTED PERSONNEL ONLY.
- You go right. You take a few more rights until you loop around, then forward and right again. Reaching a long road, the buildings are more densely packed the further you go until not even the narrowest alleyway exists between them. Commonplace office buildings, shops, and business are replaced by endless warehouses, factories, and windowless buildings. The road ends. There is a wall.
Puzzled, you try to piece things together.
Possible actions:
- Examine the wall Look around Read more signs
Inventory:
- You carry only a smashed radio. It has been a long ride. Your blue jeans are shredded; the T-shirt, stretched 2 sizes larger, is more red than white, and your shoes are unaccounted for. You wear a crumpled paper party hat.
