Some of the zombies in the Buttle Building left on their own, so I decided to stay, and finally was able to clear the building of the scourge. I barricaded the building up, and set up a generator. During my escape, I confirmed my suspicion. Dakerstown is completely overrun. I am returning to my base to check up on things there and to rearm and resupply. To the remaining survivors in Dakerstown: Good luck.

I've decided to keep this journal after running into difficulty bringing up the mobile phones in Dakerstown. I had been quite sucessfully keeping the phones in Quarlesbank running for some time. Noting that MalTel had not had any recent reports on cell tower condition from some of the neighbouring suburbs, I decided to go have a look. Jenestown, Judgewood, and Roywood were all in fine working order. Then I got to Dakerstown. Dakerstown is awash with zombies. Several of the local PDs and Hospitals are overrun. The Buttle Building, the local MalTel tower, is also overrun. Unfortunately, I was unable to successfully help the few survivors in that building. They have since joined the ranks of the undead. The only way I've been able to survive myself is to hide in some nearby buildings and make quick forays in, re-barricade, dump bodies, and try to knock out another zombie or two. Since I ran out of ammunition, this is no easy task. I worry that soon I will have to abandon Dakerstown to the zombies, and only come back when I am better equipped. Until then, I may have no choice but to leave this suburb in the dark, unable to use their cellphones to communicate with the world.
