Captain Flutergork is a soldier who found himself in the middle of a massive, well-organized zombie attack on the suburb of Yagoton (the group of zombies in question was later found out to be The Gray). He was so impressed with the effectiveness of Yagoton's defense that he went AWOL and joined a local survivor group, The Abandoned. He now lends his considerable military (and burgeoning medical) expertise to the war effort in Yagoton, which he now considers home. It is rumored, although he will neither confirm nor deny this, that his last name means "aspirin" in another language.
