Zerging, Spying and The RRF at Blackmore
"The Ridleybank Resistance Front is well known for banning the use of both "grey" tactics, such as spying, and outright illegal tactics, such as alt-abuse.
The horde's leadership has consistently reinforced this position, from Petrosjko's original call to arms, to current, ongoing disputes with notable survivor groups.
- Any alt-spying and activities along those lines will result in ejection, ruthless mockery, pantsing, and being declared fair game. - Petrosjko, from the original announcement. [1]
- Our policy on this is VERY specific- we do not want our members telling us what they've learned from survivor alts, ESPECIALLY if this information is derived from membership in another group. For example, if we had CDF members in the RRF, I would very specifically -not- want to know anything that they learned by being a CDF member. Are those the most AP-efficient resource buildings to get that stuff in? Why is the BBB concerned about holding Nichols at all? You think you can get stuff you need at the same rate from Adalbert and Blomfield? Why is there an entire thread dedicated to pulling out of "Greater Blackmore" to concentrate forces between Blackmore and Nichols?
Nichols has everything you need, with better search rates and no junk. No newspapers show up while you're searching for FAKs, etc. And it's a lousy 5 AP away. Not in the same suburb, sure, but it's definitely within your sphere of influence. And I'd love to see what happens to your search rates if Nichols suddenly becomes unusable.
But hey, Padre Romero and ian say that putting an alt at Nichols isn't zerging, and Padre Romero and ian are honorable men. So what the hell, I'll stick an alt on Nichols. And of course, I won't be expecting any accusations of zerging out of any of you. I'll get in touch with a few RRFers to inform them of your decision, and strongly urge them to follow suit.
Hooray, the battle is about to get twice as big! With NO zerging!
