About Me
Second Seed, Loredas 10th, 2008
I keep this journal to teach my descendants to survive extreme circumstances with little supplies and zero contact with our Lord, Mehrunes Dagon.
I, Mankar Camoran, am the leader of the daedra-worshiping cult, the Mythic Dawn. I ended up in damned place Malton accidentally when the portal I created in the Lake Arrius Caverns somehow changed its ultimate destination changed from Paradise, where I would have finally found my way to my Lord Dagon, to this strange place Malton. I tried to cross the border to get to some supplies that would allow me to create another portal to Paradise, but I was grievously wounded by the border patrol and managed to survive merely by my Lord's grace and almost non-existent generosity. I will not attempt to defy death again, but I must return to the side of my Lord and kill Martin Septim to ensure the Dragonfires shall never be lit again. Therefore, I must content myself with trying to find the proper accoutrements to create another portal to Paradise.
I already possess Mehrunes' Razor and a Great Sigil Stone, therefore fulfilling the requirement of the artifact of a Daedra. However, find the blood of an Aedra will be a more daunting task, as it needs to be the blood of a Tamrielic Aedra. It may be possible that I could manufacture one, but the results will not be efficient, practical, or necessarily safe.
The other problem is finding a Great Welkynd Stone. Welkynd Stones are artifacts of knowledge and good and are only found in Ayleid Ruins. Ayleid Ruins are often plundered by treasure hunters who prize Welkynd Stones almost as much as they do Varla Stones. One book I have read talks about an Orc treasure hunter that found over 300 Welkynd Stones, including one Great Welkynd Stone, so the is the slim possibility that one Stone survived the ages. There is one setback, though. The book never mentions anything else after that.
Other than all that I should be able to make the portal to Paradise and finally be reunited with my Lord.
