1) History
Originally survived the outbreak with his close compatriot Ryan S Valentine. Together, they had planned to form C.O.M.E.T., a radical survivor group. These plans were interrupted when Mark was separated from Ryan several months ago.
Though the fate of his comrade is unknown he continues to survive the outbreak as a loner. He wonders if he'll ever see his compatriot again.
2) Personality
Extremely cynical and asocial. The outbreak has darkened his view on the world and humanity, but his stubbornness keeps him going on against the undead menace.
Due to his loner approach to survival he has to fight Zombies often with hit and run tactics. While defending a building he often will use underhanded tactics to whittle down zombie numbers. He prefers to be nomadic, never staying in one area too long.
3) Log / Diary
For the past few days I've been holding up in Ackland Mall. Its a consistent resource so I'm staying put for the time being. I've been using hit and run tactics every day to kill off some of the zombies outside. Things look like they might get worse. When we first took the mall back from the zombies there were about 30 of them outside. Now that number has grown to about 50 (not counting the dead bodies). If this mall gets overrun again I should be ready to leave at the first sign of trouble...

Earlier today someone came into the mall and was telling people about how St. Mark's Hospital (Richmond Hills) has been under siege for a few weeks and they needed help. I headed north to see what I could do. When I got there there were more than 20 zombies outside and the doors were left wide open. I killed a zombie and made my way inside. It seemed the place had been completely overrun. Only three survivors were left. I immediately jumped over to The Lavers Motel and added to the barricade. I'm the only person in here and I can't help but wonder how long its going to take before the horde next door makes their way over to me. All I can do is hope I can make it out of here alive before that happens.

Looks like I was right about the mall. Despite its status officially being listed as "unknown", the survivors have taken back the mall. Apparently yesterday Crimson Clan led the counterattack against the zombies and retook Ackland Mall, which was reported in zombie hands on February 14th. I managed to find quite a few supplies inside the mall including extra guns, ammo, first aid kits, a G.P.S. device and most importantly a Radio Transmitter.
Once I find a suitable place of operations with a generator I can install it. If I do end up forming a group we can have our own frequency and I can broadcast plans, news, commands, etc. I'll need to start finding other rogues like myself and recruit them to my group. This sure would be a lot easier if Ryan was still around...

Might be changing my plans for tomorrow. Just got a message from Ackland Mall's radio transmitter. Heard they were overrun a month ago, but it looks like they have managed to take the mall back. Its a lot closer than Nichols Mall. Seems more logical to go westward and help retake the Mall.

Holding up inside Barrville Police Department, the Derryman Plaza station to be specific. I'm here with about seven other survivors. We managed to fight off some Zombies who broke through the barricade this morning. Low on supplies, especially first aid and bullets. Thinking about trekking southeast to Nichols Mall tomorrow. Heard rumors that it's been under attack. I'll find out when I go there myself I suppose... might help the defenders out while I'm there.
