...is a doctor who has spent most of his time just trying to stay alive. Not a fighter by nature, he always keeps half an eye open for the nearest, clear exit. Nevertheless, he keeps the other people stand one way or another.

He had a brief (2 days) period of being a Trenchcoat, to send a message to people who persecute Trenchies. When he realized he didn't really have anything to say, he returned to his old self and threw away his Trenchcoat, katana, and bottle of Desire into Ridleybank ("Hopefully nobody will find them now," he said to himself as he watched them land onto a horde of undead, them promptly ran away.).

While Martin was helping survivors with wounds and infection, a large group of the undead began an assualt upon the foundations of the building he was in. As the damage worsened, an entire wall and floor collapsed into the room he was in. It is not known if he survived or not. Considered MIA until proven otherwise.
