You are in an unusually decorated apartment in the American Gardens building. Despite the chaos going on in the outside world, this apartment is still luxuriously furnished and immaculate. A Les Mis poster adorns one wall, Cosette's face stained with an unsettling reddish streak. The floor and surfaces are carpeted with newspaper sheets, mostly from up-market broadsheets and style sections. You're pretty drunk, and you're not sure how you got here. The apartment's owner is standing in front of you. He's naked as a jaybird and holding something in one hand.
Since your last turn:
- • You said: "What's that you've got?" (6 minutes ago)
- • Misanthropy said: "Garant Total Control. Silicon grip, brushed aluminium handle. Intregrated claw nail-remover. £19.85 before the clampdown. Bargain price now. You know, where I come from, the ancient people believed that bravery alone was the best armour. They'd go to battle in nothing but copper torcs and warpaint." (5 minutes ago)
- • Misanthropy daubed his face with something sticky and red. (4 minutes ago)
- • You go to move, but trip and fall. The drink wasn't just for kicks. Though it was nice. (3 minutes ago)
- • You see something coming towards you. It's an axe. It looks quite good for twenty quid. You might have to pick one up if you get out of here. (1 second ago)
- • An axe exits the other side of your face. You feel half of your tongue exit with it. (now)
