Personal philosophy in brief"The so-called zombie apocalypse - which, despite the quarantine of Malton, has most likely overtaken much or all of the planet - is not the end for humanity. Rather, it is a new beginning. Survivors will eventually emerge triumphant - and from the ashes of our ruined society, a new world order can be established. "Picture our culture before the outbreak. The 20th century was one in which huge leaps were made in personal freedoms, with individuals gaining greater control over their lives than at any other time in history. But at what cost? Morality eroded away to nothing, collective values crumbled - and the individual, with all his freedoms and "rights", became a miserable wretch, beset by depression, ennui and a lack of direction, medicated to his eyeballs and one more failure away from suicide. "There was not much we could do about it then. Now, we can. The destruction of society brought about by the zombie crisis allows us to rebuild society from the ground up. We will chart a new path - one in which strong authoritarian principles reign, where the Learned will rule and where the Workers - finally - will be given a sense of purpose and direction as they are rallied in service of the state and its revitalised, centralised industry. "There may even be a place for zombies, once properly harnessed and controlled, in this new world. Imagine the military potential - not to mention the deterrent value - of a zombie regiment. Imagine what their bodies and minds could contribute to modern science. Imagine what they could bring to industry. "First, however, we must win the war. Zombies must be brutally put down and repressed, as must those survivors who, through ignorance and stupidity, hinder the march towards a better and brighter future. "All within knowledge! Nothing outside knowledge! Nothing against knowledge!"
