Introduction
Huh? Who goes there? (She points her cleaver at you menacingly)
Oh, sorry for that, pal. I thought you were one of them. Or perhaps you are? In that case, you better go away before I hack you to pieces, you are warned.
My name is Rena, Rena Ryugu. I somehow managed to enter here a few days ago, sneaking past the quarantine border. Don't ask me how to do it, though, because not even I know how I did it myself.
(Sigh) You see, this place is so desolate, so filled with death... But that's precisely what makes me feel at home. This place, compared to my birthplace of Hinamizawa, is a nice, friendly town.
I came here because I thought that I could use a change of airs... But no matter where I go, the macabre scent of Death never abandons me. Or perhaps I don't want it to abandon me, I don't know.
Don't get me wrong. I want to live, like most humans here. And I want to help those who are alive as much as I can while I still can breathe. It is just that, you know, we can't forget that this town is a duality of life and death, and thus we shouldn't blame those who protect us today as humans if they try to use us as their meal tomorrow as zombies. It is just plainly natural. After all, when you are turned into an undead, you lose the capability to think.
On the other hand, one thing that ANGERS me is the fact that some people, right after being turned back to human (Blessed be those scientists!), try to kill you! Those guys are a bunch of assholes! What good is for you to be given a new chance to live if you actually are just yelling 'Kill me!' out loud? It is ridiculous! You understand what I mean, right?
This counts as a warning to you. If you see me as a human, you know that I will be willing to help you, as long as you're NOT willing to kill me. However, if you see me as a zombie, I don't take any responsibility for whatever I may do to you... Unless you use one of those syringes on me.
By the way, did you know that those things can give you a better trip than most drugs out there? You should try them, they are pure bliss!
