Back Story
Fresh out of boot-camp, green, and not a little wet behind the ears, Spudd walked out of his barracks for the first time as a military man, on his first holiday in a long time. Deciding to visit his mum and dad back home in Greentown, Malton, he hopped on the first bus.
Upon arriving at the front door, Spudd was a carefree guy. As he touched the doorknob, the most pressing thing on his mind was what his folks would think of his army-issue buzzcut. But when Spudd opened that door he found his mum and dad, slaughtered in cold blood, being gnawed on by a pale bodied creature resembling his younger sister. He reached for his army issue Colt...
Recruitment
Deciding to join an anti-zombie organisation was the easiest decision Spudd ever made. What he needed, now more than ever, was to be surrounded once again by the living. And with the ghosts of his recently deceased family burning behind his eyes, the desire to avenge this horrible event was foremost in his mind. But he would need help, and a place to call home. The Roftwood Assault Force was sympathetic to his plight, and offered him no-questions-asked a position as a private in their ranks.
