Emily is Kalli May's daughter, and the oldest of five sisters. She has black hair and grey eyes, and is partly of Indian descent.

History

Emily was evacuated from the city when she was eleven years old, right before the quarantine went up. She grew up outside the city, but heard word from inside the city. Whispers that were not meant to reach her ears of her mother's activities; Kalli was a death cultist.

In secret, Emily admired her mother and wished to follow in her footsteps. For years she plotted to sneak into Malton and join up with Kalli. Finally, when she was nineteen years old, she managed to find a way in.

She arrived in Dakerstown and embraced death, very briefly, until being revived against her will. Grumbling, she grabbed an axe and tried to be Malton's most ineffectual axe murderer, and failed to hit anyone with it. So she healed zombies until getting sick of that and jumping out a window. At which point she was promptly revived again.

Emily took her inability to stay dead as a sign that she clearly was not meant to be a zombie. And it hadn't been what she'd imagined it to be, regardless. Death was not such a wonderful thing as she'd grown up believing. So she decided to embrace life instead, and joined The Fortress.
