Subway Line Categories

Scope:	Who/what it affects
Description:	My first proposal is to define major and minor categories for subway lines to fall under. Right now my three ideas for categories are Local Lines and Express Lines. Both of these will have subcategories as well. Local Line A local line will travel within a single district stopping at every station within a designated area. Designated areas can be horizontal/vertical/diagonal/circular grid regions or they can connect major landmarks such as Malls or Cathedrals etc. H-Lines: H Lines travel E-W across a district. V-Lines: V Lines travel N-S across a district. C-Lines: C Lines travel around the perimeter of a district. X-Lines: X Lines travel diagonally across a district. Express Line An express line will travel between multiple districts stopping once every few stations. The purpose of the express lines would have been to provide quick inter-district travel without the hassle of making multiple stops. Mall Lines: A mall line is an express line connecting two or mall malls. CX-Lines: CX Lines travel in a circle around Malton. There would be 5 such lines.

So what are you doing at the moment - just compiling a list of stations for each District? Or are they in some kind of order. I'll help you compile the list, if you like. 'arm. 23:10, 19 July 2007 (BST)

At the moment yeah, I'm putting together a list. There's no particular order right now. I figured having them all together would make things easier. Once they're all there the obvious patterns should arise. I finished all the stations in the NW Quadrant. If you would like to choose a Quadrant to write up that would be great. Also, someone will have to check over the whole thing when it's done. Alamoth 20:50, 23 July 2007 (BST)
