Welcome to the wiki

Welcome to the Urban Dead wiki! If you find yourself needing any help getting started, you might want to check out our help section; or if you need something in particular, feel free to ask me anything. You might also be interested in the Suggestions hub if you have any ideas to share, or the admin pages if you need to request anything. Nothing to be done! 01:59, 17 July 2010 (BST)

There's two ways to do it - first off is to type the name of the page you want to make (like User:Audience of One/Character) into the search field to the left, click "Go", then follow the option presented to you on the search result to create the page. From there you can type away and save the page. The other option is to link to the page somewhere, using two square brackets (like This), which will create a link in red text which you can click to open up the editing page for that name. So if you wanted to create the page User:Audience of One/Character, just click there. Of course you'll want to name it after your own character so the search option is better. Once you get started with it, feel free to ask me for anything you want to know to spruce it up. Nothing to be done! 02:23, 17 July 2010 (BST)
When you insert a picture, there's two ways of adding text. If you want a caption under the image, you need to put - the "thumb" part adds the frame and makes the text a caption. If you remove the thumb, then you get the other method, which means that the text is roll-over text (hover your cursor over any of the images in my sig and you'll see what I mean). So, for example, will produce the image over to the side -> Nothing to be done! 04:19, 17 July 2010 (BST)

Looking good so far. Glad I could be of help. Nothing to be done! 04:53, 17 July 2010 (BST)
You definately seem to be getting the hang of things. Good stuff. Nothing to be done! 05:46, 17 July 2010 (BST)
Close - it's a death cultist group, which is a sort of overlap between PKers and zombies. It's never been very big, so if you need any help on how to get recognised beyond your means, I'll be able to chime in. Nothing to be done! 23:40, 17 July 2010 (BST)
RDD, based in Millen Hills. Nothing to be done! 23:47, 17 July 2010 (BST)
Cool stuff. When you get over there, let me know, and I'll try to help train you up if you need it. In the meantime, feel free to study up on the pinata, death culting, and Trans-Mortal Tactics. Nothing to be done! 00:13, 18 July 2010 (BST)
Well there's five NTs in Millen, you'll be able to piggyback a revive easily enough. If not I'm sure I could get it sorted. Nothing to be done! 01:13, 18 July 2010 (BST)
Don't worry, we'll be able to let you nab kill bonuses from whatever we weaken, let you get there faster. Nothing to be done! 01:23, 18 July 2010 (BST)
Personally, I think attacking others and than FAKing them, and letting them know you're doing it for the Exp is quicker. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 01:24, 18 July 2010 (BST)
Yeah, thats an option. I finished off a person just to mess with some zombie on the way up, so I'm a little closer to getting the last pistol upgrade. --Audience of One 01:27, 18 July 2010 (BST)
Attack, FAK, attack, FAK, attack, FAK. That's what I tell most of my friends who I convinced to play UD to do at low levels. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 01:32, 18 July 2010 (BST)
I guess I'll try that out when I'm revived =/. --Audience of One 01:39, 18 July 2010 (BST)
The Jeffrey Building (56, 15) should be your port of call. Nothing to be done! 11:39, 19 July 2010 (BST)
I only just noticed you'd signed up to the forum. Your account is all validated now, you should be ready to go. Sorry for the delay. :( Nothing to be done! 02:52, 24 July 2010 (BST)

Updating news

Thank you for updating the Recent News section of Millen Hills. However, when updating news and status, it's better to use neutrally-worded, somewhat serious content, like what you see in the real news. This is not a good example of journalistic professionalism. Please consider it the next time you update the suburb news or building status. Thank you. -- Kittithaj 04:17, 19 July 2010 (BST)
