Ya. help namespace has been on my to do list, but since I thought I remembered what to do, all I left was a link to the namespace with the expectation that I would remember the problems, and now I've forgotten :( --

after looking at a few of my notes, I have the following ideas to change to WN:

• get rid of all the "suggestions" section except for a simple link to the suggestions section where the rules already are, it makes WN look a million times more daunting
• keep but simplify the rules, keep links to formatting, basic wiki system, etc. but don't bog the shit out of the template, keep them as links to more helpful pages on those subjects
• outsource most of the shit like characters and group rights/privileges so it doesn't have to be on the template cluttering it up. It was the reason I made Help:Making a Group or Character Page but I never invested the time to actually make it useable as a page, I find it lacking so I never trialed it into WN. Will help fixing it though
• links to help (the sysops recently added sysops to the WN page which I guess is good enough for lack of a distinctive and governed list)

A couple more but I forgot. --

Yeah, suggestions is something that really needs to go, although I do see some value in keeping the DS link so they really know to look at that page. Will need help in simplyfying the rules, although the only one that a newbie really needs to know is something along the lines of act in good faith. It's probably also worth giving impersonation a mention, too.

No problemo. If it helps, I just fixed a fair bit of Help:Making a Group or Character Page so they basically reflect the general laws of group and character pages, so that might help us minimise a chunk of the current WN. --
