An Invitation from Ghetto Cow

We would enjoy immensely being your allies. Several of our members think the Pancakes! Group page is awesome. --Ev933n / Talk PPGC 03:11, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

A Weird Look from Ghetto Cow

Soooo...'Pancakes!' people are zombies now? Well, maybe if you promise not to eat us, we'll proudly call you allies! Or something.--Lachryma 00:30, 29 March 2007 (BST)

Re: What'd I miss?

Nothing exciting as far as I am aware. Are you guys entirely stationary? --Ev933n / Talk PPGC 06:29, 29 March 2007 (BST)

The Night Stalkers Beg Your Pardon

Recently while looking after my teams page, I noticed a less-then happy remark stating that members of my team had been bothering members of yours. I'm sorry, but I believe that you have the wrong people--- The Night Stalkers that you commented on are a division of the MCDU, we're not even true group. I'm sorry for the mishap, but it isn't us that you should be angry with. --Revan 07:21, 6 July 2007 (BST)

.... I was pked by a player (I believe it was Ninja Melvin, to be specific) who listed himself as a member of the Night Stalkers. Other members were pked by players listing themselves as Night Stalkers, and several other players pointed information in game to the Night Stalkers as our assailants and pornographers. You might want to check your ranks. --Poker Alice 22:34, 22 July 2007 (BST)

--I know that there is a group called 'The Night Stalkers,' as I've found out that that same group has been combat reviving people, however it is NOT us. Once again, we are a division of the MCDU, and our group members have 'Malton Civil Defense Unit' on their profiles. I have checked, and there is no 'Ninja Melvin' in our unit. --Revan 03:56, 24 July 2007 (BST)

The Hellfire Club

I would like to apologize for the actions of Stand Alone Complex. Although we are in Roftwood doing some constructive PKing your group is not the intended target. This has all been a case of miscommunication. However I take offense at your remarks about my logo. That was not done with photoshop. That was made painstakingly by myself using 3D graphics software. Unless you know the time, effort, and skill that is required to construct something like that, don't make any remarks. If you can't be appeased I'll be happy to wage war ingame, but don't go OOC on this, it is rude and unprofessional. P.S. I never denied that we were a PKer group. --Omegaomnus 02:56, 8 October 2007 (BST)

In regards to your statement that my commentary was "rude" and "unprofessional," how professional or polite is pk-ing a group that has done nothing but offer a safehouse, revives, and heals for survivors in need? Honestly. I'm calling you on the "miscommunication" excuse as per why members of Pancakes! were attacked in their own safehouse. How do you miscommunicate the word "Pancakes!"? I could see it if, perhaps, there were other groups in our fair Malton that are named for breakfast foods, but how the hell do you miscommunicate "Pancakes!"?!?!?!

By the by, just because something was "painstakingly" made, does not mean it's good design nor that it should be complemented as such. I'm sorry, but you don't know JACK about me and my design aesthetics/skills outside of UD. I know the time, effort, and skill required to make GOOD design, as well as poor design. Just because you might have taken a load of time and completed it with technical finesse does not mean the concept/design was good. Look at the FedEx logo. Excellent concept if you understand it, with very little/simple technical follow through. You can argue all you want about the degree of technical success and time it took for you to make it, but that doens't make it a good thing. I've made some pretty atrocious things myself, and I'm not too proud to admit it. But that.... that's crap on fire. And, sadly, I'm not the only person to think so....

If you have an email address or if you register on the Hellfire Club forums I could send you the uncropped unedited version. I admit when my friend turned it into a logo he cropped and enlarged the shit out of. The burning portal with the skeleton was an afterthought. The whole picture is supposed to be about the architecture, the vaults, columns, archs, etc. --Omegaomnus 17:28, 9 October 2007 (BST)
