Kill - A game that's been around for three years with no "are you sure?" button better not start adding them now. |
Actually there are at least two, one for jumping out of a window and one for purchasing Brain Rot. --Explodey 12:02, 14 April 2008 (BST)
- I stand corrected. Either way, why not just carry around a lead pipe? Or a knife for that matter. It just doesn't seem worth the code. --Slavoj 14:24, 14 April 2008 (BST)
Explodey's right. There are 2 'Are you sures' already. As for why to not carry around a lead pipe, there is significant additional burden for what is essentially the same thing as an unloaded shotgun. One just also happens to fire shells because of a mechanism on one end. Even for a knife, it's additional burden which you can use to carry more ammo or a fak. There is minimal code involved in this, and voting kill on a vote because you think there'd be code difficulty or server load is one of the 'Invalid votes' choices in the FAQ on voting. Kevan's concern is code - our concern is picking suggestions which will make the game more interesting/fun/better. --Tselita 14:28, 14 April 2008 (BST)
- Apparently standing corrected doesn't suffice around here. It doesn't change my vote. No offense. --Slavoj 14:40, 14 April 2008 (BST)
- Ya, I just read that. I removed my snippy little comment in my Re to you. Sorry about that. I just got a little ticked off that more than one person didn't realize the whole 'are you sure' thing was already used a few times in the game. No offense meant, I'm just big on having the reasons for kill votes being accurate ones (it encourages others to make their kill and keep votes for accurate reasons as well). Hope you don't take offense to my aforementioned snippiness. --Tselita 16:17, 14 April 2008 (BST)
