Hello

Just to say well done for A) signing your posts and B) taking your idea to talk suggestions.

signature name?

If by that you mean a templated signature, try here for help with making one. If you just want to make it colorful and such, there are sections of that page which will help you. --Pestolence(talk) 23:36, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

No problem. And I moved your comment to a new section on my page; hope you don't mind. --Pestolence(talk) 02:11, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Do you have the Raw Signatures box checked in your preferences, and the code "User:YourUserName/Sig" in the Nickname field?--Pestolence(talk) 01:10, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
At the top of your page when you are signed in, there should be several links in the upper right corner, including "my talk", "my contributions", and "my preferences". You want to click on the "My preferences" link and it will take you to a page with several tabs. In the User Profile tab, there is a field titled Nickname, where you want to enter the code "User:YourUserName/Sig". You also want to check the box "Raw signatures (without automatic link)." --Pestolence(talk) 01:26, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
A thought I had: You did create the page "User:Yungblood/Sig", right? --Pestolence(talk) 01:27, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
Well, I've got to go. If that didn't work for you, I'd suggest contacting a more experienced user than me. --Pestolence(talk) 01:42, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

I've moved your sig to User:Yungblood/Sig, was this the effect you were after? -- boxy talkteh rulz 00:18 20 November 2008 (BST)

Well, it looks like you got it all worked out. Congratulations! (although, if I may make a suggestion, I would use a different color than red, since the red you have now looks like a link to page with no content at first glance. Just a thought.) --Pestolence(talk) 17:01, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Thanks!

Thank-you for your complement. You write stuff... for yourself. But it's nice to hear that others are reading... and enjoying...

Made my day!--Cub McBub 14:45, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
