Basic Info:

  • Warehouses can be barricaded normally.

This common, cold structure is a single story storage warehouse. Long abandon, the deserted structure teams with the multitude of green plant life that seeks to reclaim man's dominion. Weeds, fungus and mould cling to the places best suited to them. Curled brown leaves litter and pile every corner but are especially high in the east wall and corners, where the western winds have pushed them into every crevice along with the piles of surface dirt and sandy soils of now neglected gardens. Most of the structure is brick but the roof and some parts of the doors and windows are metal, all aluminum fittings and tin sheeting. Now these things seem more rust and oxides than metal.

Inside all the interior steel shelving has been divided into two amassed groups. A long dead forklift, now burnt and charred sits mute closest to the east, signs that perhaps some sort of defence or shelter was worked here with an attempt to secure the doors evident. Other than the empty open plan of the warehouse all that is in here is a foreman's office. Its door has been torn from its hinges and lies just so by the door opening. Inside the office is a shattered shell, it's floor covered with an uninteresting carpet of now pointless paperwork. The only item that raises some interest is a wall phone that seems untouched by the vandalism and destruction but it is dead, much like those who worked here.

Feb.24.08: Skails stands in front of the warehouse, swaying slightly. The exertions of the day have numbed his clouded brain. A thin sheen of ice coats his tattered jacket. Inside his swollen abdomen a veritable cornucopia of tiny organisms seethes in the dank cavity. Multi-colored insects of all sorts wriggle among moss covered ribs; churning the mush of former organs along mats of musty algae.

Barricade Policy

Extremely Heavily Barricaded (EHB+4) as per Mornington's Barricade Plan.

Current Status

You are inside a warehouse. It looks like it's been out of use since before the quarantine. The building has been very strongly barricaded. Also here is Sawge (50HP).Somebody has spraypainted Hope Crescent Rail to the west onto a wall.--Dr Mycroft Chris 09:12, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
