The Burchell Newscast Team (TBNT), commonly referred to as Burchell News or Burch News, is a radio and web news channel owned by The Burchell Arms Regulars, a subsidiary of News Inc. As of September 2010, it is available to 340,000 in the Northeastern Malton area and further to viewers reaching up to 1,307,663, compliments of its online video webcast availabilities, broadcasting primarily out of The Burchell Arms. The channel was created by English-American media mogul User:Officer Mead Sheaffer, who hired Don Fallman as his founding CEO. The channel was launched on September 7, 2010 to 17 youtube subscribers. Burchell News is currently the only provider of news via a youtube channel, making it the most broad news publisher in terms of content choices. Critics have asserted that both Burchs news reporting and its political commentary promote Survivor political positions. Burchell News Channel says that its political commentary and news reporting operate independently of each other and denies any bias in its news reporting, Zombie or Survivor.
