You are inside a transit bus moving through a street. The seating is stained and the windows are barred and splashed with blood. Also with you are Volker (60HP), Ross (55HP), Franklin Aichon (50HP), Axel (60HP), Jen (50HP), Izzy (50HP) and Tammy (40HP).

The engine is running and in mostly good condition. The gas tank is mostly full.

Somebody has spraypainted abandon onto a seat.

There is another vehicle here.

There are many dead bodies here.

The two-vehicle convoy has moved some indeterminate distance away from where you last where. Looking out, you see a large patch of blacked pavement. As the bus nears, the evidence of a significant and purpose-built fire is obvious. It was, for whatever authority existed at the time, an impromptu mass body removal. Some black shapes poke out at varied angles in the mess, property of those who were last to be burned, when the heat was less and the burning not so prolonged.

The stench, trapped for who-knows how long, is kicked up to activity again after being disturbed by the rolling wheels of the buses.

And then you see the bodies in body bags, the many left dormant because there was not enough time to burn them. They lay there in haphazard directions, sometimes laid atop the other, sometimes away from the group. Sometimes, the body bag was not closed, or perhaps never used, as there is not a body to be seen inside the body bag. Somehow, you suspect, the body left the body bag after being placed inside, and it wasn't because it was alive, either.
