Tubes running from the top attach to a metal cistern on the floor. Barriers form rooms suspended in the structure. The doors to the gymnasium have been secured. People have spraypainted tags reading kitchen, garden, sleeping, and holding onto wooden boards placed around the gymnasium. Ross opens the gymnasium doors, pulling them outward. The gymnasium is not what you expected. Poles and beams of metal or wood make up scaffolding-like platforms and supports, heavily layered, with ropes slung across gaps seemingly without function. Walls made up of what looks to be fabric-covered plywood sheets create floating rooms inside the structure. A rectangular hole in the ceiling allows light to filter through tarps, below which you can see apparently hanging chunks of soil, with plants growing out awkwardly. Tubes run from the ceiling and to certain areas of the structure, many ending in a cistern or tank welded together with discoloured sheets of metal. It is all very complicated. Little movements amidst the mess take time to be understood as people, longer to be recognized as six of your friends. On the floor, Izzy approaches, talking to Ross but then noticing you.
