Description
The Greatorex Building is a narrow red-brick building covered in abandoned scaffolding. This building shares its name with a NecroTech building in Houldenbank
History
The Greatorex Building housed the offices of Greatorex Corporation, a Japanese/Greenlandian manufacturer of energetic drinks. Rumors spread after the outbreak that consuming Greatorex allowed you to fight zombies 24/7, without needing sleep. Survivors who developed a taste for it came here for rations of Greatorex from the company's storage vats, determined to make an hypercaffeinated stand against the zombie hordes. Shipments were frequently made to Thompson Mall to the northeast in Lockettside. There were also vending machines in nearby Police Departments, Hospitals and NecroTech facilities for a while.
Unfortunately, even without sleeping and buzzed on Greatorex, people still fell to hordes of the undead. It was quickly noted that former Greatorex drinkers had a tendency to rise as zombies with more vigour than usual. A squad came and broke the Greatorex tanks when surrounding suburbs complained about the sudden increase of overexcited zombies. Of course the sudden flood of Greatorex into Malton's sewers gave rise to [R.O.U.S.s] which could be quite vicious as well.
