= About me =
I'm Adam Readman, a former web developer from Malton. I grew up in the suburb of Pennville, and I'd lived there all my life until February 18th, 2007, when I woke up to find myself in a hospital gurney with a mind-numbing headache.


I have a huge lapse in my memory, stretching all the way back from the summer of 2005...I can't seem to remember ''anything''. Apparently around the same time as my amnesia started, the dead have risen in Malton...that's right, zombies. ''Zombies'' are stumbling around the streets of Malton.

Obviously, Malton is in complete anarchy, with humans breaking out in fights with zombies (and, sometimes, other humans), improvised melee weapons like crowbars and cricket bats becoming as common as wearing clothes, loaded firearms being rare resources, buildings without power...I sometimes wonder if we'll even make it through all of this.

The government's ordered a military quarantine of Malton, meaning we're all trapped here one way or the other. Survival is our main priority...killing off the ever-growing zombie population is simply a byproduct.

= Recent developments =

I've met up with my good friend, also in web development...he goes merely by his screen name, "Arcalyth" (even in public...) Anyways, he's better at bashing zombies with improvised weapons than I am, but I'm a better shot. However, no sooner had we reunited then a hoard of zombies took over Stanbury Village, where we were at the time. I tried to save him, but Arcalyth is one of ''them'' now. I hope he finds a scientist soon... he's my only friend in Malton I've found since the outbreak.

After being frustrated with the poor communication skills many local radio operators have, I've started writing up a new [[radio]] users' group, called the [[Guerrilla Broadcasting Alliance]]. It's still heavily work-in-progress, but it's getting there.
