Description
A portable generator has been set up here. It is out of fuel, and connected to a powered-down radio transmitter. The lobby has been decorated with a Greek tapestry.
History
Since it's construction in 1987, the Self Hotel has been relatively fancy, with spacious rooms and wide, arching windows, while at the same remaining quite inexpensive. The hotel was able to afford this only due to it's unique amount of self-service; guests were expected to keep their rooms clean, there were no bellboys, and guests and were not provided with room service. Should they leave any work for the maids, they would be charged extra.
The hotel was mostly popular among people to poor to afford other hotels, namely those in the service industry.
