This policy goes against the established suburb policy that the location be Extremely Heavily barricaded at all times as in accordance with the [[Pescodside Barricade Plan]].

Basic Info:

 • All junkyards were sealed and locked at the start of the quarantine, and required wirecutters to enter, unless someone else had already cut the fence. It is widely recognised that all junkyards in Malton have already been cut open.

Description

A junkyard located in the suburb of Pescodside. Above the entrance gate is a large sign on which someone has spray painted: "Burk's Junkyard and Tabernacle (Est. 2006)". Survivors can barricade this location (even though the once mighty chain-link fence is breached) and while searching does, on occaision, yield something from a variety of items it should be noted that not everything found is considered useful. As such, survivors should consider this a safe haven when barricaded, but hardly the best place to stock up on useful gear.

Barricade Policy

The junkyard is kept Very Strongly (VS+2) barricaded and in a strategically sound location. This location was recently established as a survivor shelter by philanthropist Daniel Burk in an effort to provide a safe haven for any survivors in need of a place to rest. Burk's Junkyard and Tabernacle is advertised as: Your home away from home.
