You are inside a classroom of Pridmore Way School, a high school. Every wall has shelves built to the ceiling, every surface a book on it. Both make narrow walking corridors of the classroom floor space. It is dark.

You enter the classroom, creaking the door open slowly. You kick a book accidentally. The place has been set up as a library. Lines of sight are blocked by shelves and shapes. You can hardly distinguish anything out of the darkness. Is no one here?
